Companion Animal Hospital
Advanced Surgical & Dental Services
At Companion Animal Hospital, we combine advanced surgical techniques with personalized veterinary care. Our team performs a wide range of soft tissue surgeries, dental procedures, emergency operations, and reconstructive procedures using modern anesthetic monitoring and advanced vessel-sealing technology.
For many procedures, we utilize vessel sealing technology like Ligasure®, which allows for improved surgical efficiency, reduced bleeding, and enhanced patient safety.
All surgical patients receive individualized anesthetic protocols, pain management, and careful monitoring throughout their procedure.
Prices below are estimates and may vary depending on patient size, medical condition, anesthesia time, laboratory testing, medications, hospitalization, pathology, and other factors. A consultation is recommended for all surgical patients.

The fees listed below are estimates for the surgical procedure itself and are intended as a general guide. Actual costs may vary based on patient size, breed, age, medical condition, anesthesia requirements, surgical complexity, procedure duration, laboratory testing, pathology, and hospitalization needs.
These estimates are for the surgical procedure only. Additional fees may apply for pre-surgical bloodwork, diagnostic imaging, pathology, take-home medications, pain management, protective recovery equipment (E-collars, recovery suits, bandages, splints), and follow-up care.
For more complicated procedures or medically fragile patients, overnight monitoring and hospitalization at our location or at a local 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital may be recommended. Emergency and after-hours care is provided through local emergency hospitals. Fees charged by those facilities are separate from Companion Animal Hospital fees.

• Surgical extractions (price depends on complexity and type of tooth)
• Dental radiographs

- * Extraction: Simple or complex (per tooth)
- Complex oral surgery ---- Gingiva flap – The gums are carefully sutured closed after a tooth extraction to protect the surgical site, cover the bone graft, and promote faster healing.
- Bone Graft – Specialized material placed in the extraction site to support bone healing, improve comfort, and promote long-term oral health.
- Bonding – A protective dental restoration used for certain uncomplicated tooth fractures when the pulp is not exposed. Bonding helps protect the damaged tooth and may prevent the need for extraction.
