Dental Care

Our dental procedures include ultrasonic scaling, polishing, dental radiography, dental extractions, and minor oral surgery.

Laser Therapy

We are equipped with a state of the art class 4 laser that allows us to treat a variety of ailments without the use of pharmaceuticals. We’re proud to be one of the few clinics in town to offer this service!

Poultry Services

We are happy to provide care for poultry as well as pet birds. Our team is trained and experienced in caring for avian patients, so we want you to know that your bird is receiving top quality care.

Mobile Services

Vida Veterinary is owned and operated by Dr. Alfredo Geigel-Ortiz VMD. Although his primary focus is small animals and exotic pets (including fish and poultry) he takes care of all shapes and sizes of pets.

Dr. Alfredo Geigel-Ortiz

Growing up in Puerto Rico, I had the great fortune to work and play alongside my grandfather, who had a large farm and exposed me to animals from a very early age.

My passion for animals led me to Texas, where I graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Biology. From Texas, my chocolate lab and I moved to Philadelphia, where I successfully completed my studies in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.

I am driven to help pets by providing the best care possible. I love keeping up to date with research and technology, and integrating the latest and most current practices into my work.
